Imelda is an investment professional with more than 11 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance across West and North Africa. She has led and participated in numerous equity investment and fundraising initiatives, supporting companies through phases of expansion, restructuring and strategic repositioning.
In her current role, she oversees the full investment cycle — from deal sourcing and due diligence to structuring, execution and portfolio value creation. She works closely with CEOs and management teams on financial optimization, operational performance, governance, ESG implementation and long-term strategic planning. Her sector exposure spans digital infrastructure, agribusiness, manufacturing and services. She is recognized for her strategic judgment, rigorous analytical approach and her ability to operate effectively in diverse and culturally varied environments.
Imelda holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and has completed advanced executive training in leadership and management at MDE Business School, a member of the IESE Business School network in Côte d’Ivoire.
Outside of work, Imelda is an avid reader and finds balance through moments of humor and laughter. She is also a big fan of the TV show Black-ish.
