Amaka provides oversight over deal origination, execution, and portfolio company value creation at Uhuru.

She has over 15 years of private equity, investment banking, and operational experience from Helios Investment Partners, UBS, Groupon, and Dresser-Rand (now Siemens Energy). During her eight years at Helios, she was a founding member of the firm’s climate fund and played a central role in driving portfolio operations across energy and infrastructure businesses. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BEng in Materials Science & Engineering from Imperial College London.

She enjoys travelling with her family and spends a lot of time tending to her garden with plants gathered from her travels. She also enjoys playing golf and tennis.
